Breath Of Winter Blows Over Crescent Beach

WIND RUFFLED some feathers on Saturday. Although the southwest of BC has mild winters in contrast to the rest of Canada, weather surprises give us something to talk about. It can change daily from relatively warm and soggy to blustery and bitterly cold.

An unexpected chill turned muddy puddles into crunchy pockets of cracked ice. Flurries of wet snow were predicted for Sunday but (as I write this) have yet to appear.
